About Anchika

I am a native Hindi speaker and can converse fluently in Hindi and English as I have grown up in London. I can help provide aid to students who wish to learn how to communicate with others in Hindi, focusing on informal and formal sentence structure. I have been speaking both Hindi and English since I was a baby, as these are the two languages spoken in my home. So if you are into Bollywood, have Hindi-speaking friends or relatives, or just want to learn another language, I can help you learn a language in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. My teaching style involves • Focusing on male and female nouns • Formal and informal ways of speaking • Repetition is key! I will not expect you to do learning outside of class; all the learning will be undertaken during the lesson. All you have to do is practise what you have learnt. • correct sentence structure - correct use of grammar

My teaching style involves • Focusing on male and female nouns • Formal and informal ways of speaking • Repetition is key! I will not expect you to do learning outside of class; all the learning will be undertaken during the lesson. All you have to do is practise what you have learnt. It helps to be exposed to Hindi, however, through films, podcasts, music, and talking to people, so it is good to practise with friends and family • correct sentence structure - correct use of grammar. All lessons are tailored to each student so that you can learn at your own pace. I have a beginners syllabus I use to structure my lessons, but the lessons themselves will be adjusted to your needs and requirements.

Perfect! Anchika is a really positive, encouraging and enthusiastic tutor, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the last 3-4 months learning Hindi with her. No two lessons are the same, and Anchika actively seeks my feedback with regards to lesson topics, teaching styles and pace. Her lessons are super engaging, and always involve a diverse range of speaking and listening activities (e.g. roleplay/scripts, tests, recaps). Seeing that I had some prior experience with Hindi, Anchika immediately recognised my strengths and weaknesses, and has since designed our lessons with these in mind.
