About Daniele

Ciao! I’m Daniele, a native Italian speaker and qualified teacher based in Melbourne. Born and raised in Italy, I combine authentic language knowledge with professional teaching experience to help students learn Italian in a clear, engaging, and confident way.

Students appreciate my patient and supportive approach, as well as the structure and professionalism I bring to every lesson. I provide all learning materials, tailor lessons to individual goals, and focus on creating steady progress in a relaxed and motivating environment.

Whether you are learning Italian for travel, study, work, or personal interest, I aim to make every lesson enjoyable, effective, and worth your investment.

About the lesson

I offer personalized Italian lessons for students of all ages and levels — from complete beginners to advanced learners, including teenagers, VCE students, adults, and retirees.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics and Modern Languages from the Ca' Foscari University of Venice and a Master of Teaching (Secondary) from Monash University. I have 2 years of experience teaching in Australian high schools and more than 4 years of experience teaching Italian privately in both one-on-one and group settings - teenagers and adult learners (including students in their 70s), learning Italian for travel, school, conversation, VCE, university, or personal interest.

My teaching approach is supportive, structured, and conversation-focused. I adapt every lesson to the student’s goals, learning style, and pace, combining clear grammar explanations with practical speaking activities, pronunciation practice, and authentic cultural content. Whether you are learning Italian for school, travel, work, family, or personal interest, my aim is to help you build confidence and communicate naturally.

Lessons are usually 60 minutes long and are available online (preferred) or face-to-face depending on location. I also offer a free 20-minute initial assessment to evaluate your level and discuss your goals. All learning materials and resources are provided, so there is no need to purchase textbooks or additional materials.
