About Mami

Hello, I am Mami. I studied Japanese teaching at university and obtained a certificate. I learned the direct teaching method and gained practical experience at a Japanese language school and by supporting international students during my university years. After graduating, I worked in English language school, study abroad agency and IT companies for over 15 years in Japan, deepening my understanding of Japanese business culture. Now, living in Wollongong, I am excited to pursue my dream of becoming a Japanese teacher. With years of studying English and experience working for educational companies, I can tailor lessons to your goals, from daily conversation to business Japanese. Also, as a mother of a 6-year-old, I know how to keep children entertained and engaged. I love traveling and cooking, and I am cheerful, patient, and always smiling.
