About Nana

こんにちは！Konnichiwa!

I’m a native Japanese speaker who enjoys helping students learn Japanese in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Before becoming a tutor, I worked as a secretary at a patent law firm in Germany and later at the Embassy in Tokyo. Through these international experiences, I communicated with people from many different cultural backgrounds.

Because I have also studied foreign languages myself, I understand how challenging learning a new language can be. That’s why my lessons are patient, supportive, and easy to follow. You can feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

Lesson style
We mainly use the following textbooks to build a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and conversation;

-GENKI for beginners N5 and N4
-QUARTET for intermediate N3 and N2
other textbooks are available upon request

Speaking practice
I try to use Japanese as much as possible so you can get used to natural Japanese. Over 80% of class time is dedicated to speaking Japanese, helping you improve fluency faster.

English support available when needed

Beginners are very welcome!

My goal is to help you build confidence and enjoy learning Japanese step by step.

About the lesson

In my lessons, we use textbooks as the main learning material. I try to use Japanese as much as possible during the lesson so students can immerse themselves in the language. If something is difficult to understand, I can explain briefly in English. My lessons are beginner-friendly and focus on building a strong foundation in Japanese.
