About Dagam

Hi! I’m Dagam, a native Korean speaker. I’ve always enjoyed talking with people and getting to know their stories, and I think that’s one of the things I like most about teaching a language.

I’m interested in music, writing lyrics, food, and different cultures. I love having conversations and also enjoy sharing little details about Korean culture that I find interesting.

Korean can be a challenging language to learn, but I think it becomes really interesting once you start to understand how it works. There are so many little things that make Korean unique, and I love sharing those things with people. I feel fulfilled when my students who started with no knowledge of Korean finally understand my 아재개그 (Korean dad jokes) after learning the language.

About the lesson

I like to keep my lessons relaxed, conversational, and personal. We’ll learn Korean through real conversations and everyday situations, while naturally working on pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and expressions that Koreans actually use.

Everyone learns differently, and that’s perfectly fine! All levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced learners. We’ll make each lesson fit your level, interests, and goals. You can practice having casual conversations with me, prepare for a trip, understand K-dramas, or simply work on feeling more comfortable speaking Korean. Whatever your goal is, just share it and we’ll work on it together!

We can talk about Korean culture, music, food, travel, daily life, or whatever naturally comes up during our conversation. My goal is for you to feel comfortable speaking Korean without worrying too much about being perfect. We’ll take it at your pace and make each lesson feel like a conversation.
