About Inji
Annyeong! 안녕하세요 :) I’m Inji, a native Korean speaker from South Korea, now living in Perth.
Have you ever learned a Korean phrase from a textbook and wondered, “Do Koreans actually say this?” That’s exactly the kind of thing I’d love to help you with!
I spent over seven years teaching English in Korea, so I know that learning a new language can sometimes feel confusing or intimidating. My goal is to make Korean feel approachable, practical and fun — not like another subject you have to study.
Along with Hangul, pronunciation and everyday conversation, I’d love to share the little things that make Korean feel real: natural expressions, casual phrases and Korean culture.
Whether your goal is to understand your favorite Korean content, travel around Korea, talk with Korean friends, or simply learn something new, you’re very welcome in my lessons.
Don’t worry if you’re starting from 안녕하세요 — we can build from there together!

My lessons are friendly, practical and tailored to each student's goals and level. I can help complete beginners learn Hangul from the basics, improve pronunciation, build useful vocabulary and practice natural everyday conversation.
With over seven years of experience as a language teacher in Korea, I understand how to explain language concepts clearly and make lessons comfortable and encouraging for beginners.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and can be adapted to your interests, whether you want to learn Korean for travel, everyday conversation, Korean culture, or simply as a new hobby.
All beginner learners are welcome!
