About Lina

My name is Lina, a native Korean speaker educated in Korea through university. I hold a Computer Science degree and worked as a software engineer. I also completed the Korean Language Teacher Training Program at Yonsei University. I have international experience in Kuala Lumpur and am currently based in San Francisco.

I am fluent in English and teach Korean in a friendly yet professional way. I tailor lessons to each student’s goals, including exams, career, conversation, or immigration needs. Beyond language, I also support students with Korean culture, daily life, and practical guidance as a mentor.

About the lesson

As Lina, I focus on making Korean learning clear, structured, and enjoyable for every student. My teaching method combines practical conversation practice with step-by-step grammar explanations, using real-life examples to help students naturally understand and use Korean.

A typical lesson includes a short review, introduction of new grammar or expressions, guided practice, and speaking exercises to reinforce what was learned. I always adapt the pace and content based on each student’s level and goals.

What sets me apart is my ability to explain Korean in both a logical and friendly way, thanks to my background as a software engineer and native speaker. I can break down complex ideas simply and clearly in both Korean and English.
