About Ye-Eun

I lived in the South Korea for over 30 years, and now living in US for 3 years. I am proficient both in Korean and English, and currently in my doctoral degree. I am very good at writing in Korean and enjoy analyzing lyrics. I am a big fan of Epik High, IU, SVT! Also, I can recommend must-watch classic dramas and movies personalized for you :)

About the lesson

If you are a K-pop or K-drama fan willing to dig deeper into what idioms, metaphors, or even a recent meme means, you found the right person! I’m thoroughly up to date with all the memes and trends in Korea, and able to interpret cultural background (if you want, some pieces of history!) since I know both culture well enough. We can watch MV or drama together and go over whatever you need to be explained. Also, you can learn how to read Korean in an hour ;)

Perfect! Ye-Eun is a great tutor! She took her time to explain the concepts and created a sheet for me to practice with her and during my own time. We spoke about kdramas and korean culture as well. I would highly recommend her as a tutor! :)
