About Sue

I am a pre-service LOTE teacher, specialising in Japanese and Korean.

You don’t read the Korean alphabet (Hangul) yet? Don’t worry!
I can help you learn to read and write Korean and speak naturally. Along the way, I’ll share fascinating Korean cultural insights to make your learning experience richer and more enjoyable.

My lessons are tailored to your individual needs. I use personalised materials and books based on your level, goals, and preferences. If you’re planning a holiday in Korea, I can design practical, real-life lessons such as how to order food in a restaurant, ask for directions, or shop in local markets.

My teaching methodology
I believe language learning should be fun, interactive, and connected to real life. I use a communicative approach, focusing on speaking and listening from the very first lesson. Grammar and vocabulary are taught in context, so you can apply what you learn immediately. I also integrate games, role plays, cultural stories, and multimedia resources to keep lessons dynamic and engaging.
