About Haley
Hi, I’m Haley, a native Korean tutor based in Toronto. I enjoy helping students feel comfortable and confident when learning a new language, especially at the beginner level. I believe learning works best in a calm, supportive environment where students are not afraid to make mistakes. I am patient, attentive, and adapt my teaching style to each student’s pace and goals. Hi, I’m Haley, a native Korean tutor based in Toronto.
My lessons focus on helping beginners speak natural, real-life Korean with confidence. Instead of memorizing grammar rules, we practice building simple sentences and using them in everyday situations.
A typical lesson includes guided speaking practice, useful expressions for daily life, and gentle, clear correction. I explain concepts in English when needed, so complete beginners feel comfortable and supported.
My lessons are ideal for students who know some words but struggle to speak, as well as those learning Korean for daily life, relationships, or communication with Korean partners or family members.
