About Daniel

Hey everyone!

Teaching is my passion and I have strived to deliver the best of my knowledge to students I taught for the past 5 years of my life. Started out as a private tutor in high school, I have built so many meaningful relationships with my students and I approach them without prejudice and hostility; learning is uneasy, so I know everyone needs a strong foundation to develop their skills in any subjects.

Over 10+ students taught. I was born and raised in China by my Korean parents and then I moved to Canada when I was 13. Ever since, I have not lost my heritage and continued to teach and be involved with my culture. Teaching Korean brings me so much joy and I'm glad to see my students feel more comfortable with their abilities!

I am a recent grad from McGill University and currently a laboratory manager at a research lab affiliated with the RI-MUHC!

About the lesson

Engaging Korean language tutor offering structured lesson plans focused on conversational speaking, practical vocabulary building, and grammar explanations. Lessons are interactive, supportive, and tailored to each student’s level, helping learners gain confidence, improve fluency, and communicate naturally in real-life situations.

But lessons are tailored to your needs! I can follow a book and do traditional, structured lessons but the majority of my students are casual learners whom I teach Korean through K-Drama phrases, K-pop contents or books once the basics are done!
