About Florian
I am an engaging graduate of Modern Foreign Languages with a wide range of personal interests. I learnt German from scratch at secondary school, and then went on to study it for my degree at the University of Leeds. I have spoken German and Italian in a professional environment for 3 years, and believe myself to be fully interculturally competent. I am a firm believer that learning a foreign language is one of the most worthwhile things that we can do – it helps you to learn and connect with others.

How better to learn a language than talking about things that interest and matter to you? We can cover the subject matter of your A-Levels or GCSEs, but also spend some time talking about other things that you’re passionate about. Tailoring your sessions in this way will help expand your vocabulary and understanding, giving you the edge in your oral exams, and helps you better engage with German TV shows, news, novels, and other media. And it’s much more fun that way!
I’ll offer a supportive learning environment for you to speak German, share your ideas and opinions in German, and (of course) make mistakes freely. We can recap new vocab at the end of each session and watch those mistakes steadily vanish!
