About Natalia

My name is Natalia, and I am a dedicated and highly motivated Spanish tutor committed to helping students achieve real, measurable progress. As a former Stanford University student and Spanish Teaching Assistant, I have both the academic training and the practical experience to guide students at different levels with clarity and professionalism.

I approach every lesson with preparation, structure, and intention. I understand that students and families are investing their time and trust, so I prioritize punctuality, organization, and thoughtful lesson planning. Each session is customized to the student’s goals, whether that means improving grades, strengthening grammar, preparing for exams, or developing conversational fluency.

I take pride in maintaining high academic standards while also creating a supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is not only to improve performance, but to build lasting confidence in using Spanish accurately and naturally.

I am deeply committed to excellence in teaching, and I look forward to supporting each student’s growth with professionalism, consistency, and care.

About the lesson

As a Spanish tutor, my goal is not only to teach the language, but to help students feel confident and capable using it in real-life situations. My name is Natalia, and my teaching approach combines structure, clarity, and conversation-based immersion to ensure students truly understand what they are learning, not just memorize it.

My Teaching Method and Techniques

I use a balanced approach that focuses on:

Strong grammatical foundations explained clearly and step-by-step

Guided conversation practice to build fluency and confidence

Real-world applications (dialogue, cultural context, practical scenarios)

Active recall and repetition techniques to strengthen retention

Personalized pacing based on each student’s goals and learning style

I believe grammar should feel logical, not overwhelming. I break down complex structures into manageable parts and provide plenty of examples. For students who already speak Spanish but struggle with grammar accuracy, I focus on refining sentence structure and eliminating common mistakes.

What a Typical Lesson Looks Like

A typical lesson may include:

A short review of previous material

Introduction of a new concept (grammar, vocabulary, or conversation theme)

Guided practice exercises

Speaking practice using the new concept

Feedback and correction in real time

A short recap and optional practice suggestions

For conversational students, lessons are more discussion-based but still structured around targeted improvements.

What Sets Me Apart

What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to combine academic precision with practical communication. As a Spanish Teaching Assistant and native speaker, I understand both formal Spanish structure and natural spoken language. I am patient, detail-oriented, and very attentive to patterns in student errors, which allows me to correct mistakes effectively and kindly.

I also understand what it feels like to learn and refine a language at a high academic level, so I can support students preparing for exams, presentations, or professional use.

Who My Lessons Are For

My lessons are ideal for:

Middle school and high school Spanish students

College-level Spanish learners

Heritage speakers who want to strengthen grammar

Beginners starting from zero

Adults seeking conversational or professional Spanish

Students preparing for exams or improving grades

Whether you are aiming for academic success or real conversational fluency, I tailor each lesson to your specific goals.

I look forward to helping you build confidence and mastery in Spanish.
