About Jacqueline
Do you wonder why traditional methods fail to capture the rhythm of real conversation? I prioritize an active approach where we use music and performance techniques to internalize the flow of the language because chanson does not work in translation.
Our time together involves listening practice and structural drills designed to solidify your conversational fluency. I draw on my 12 years of experience as a gigging musician to help you hear the difference between formal and street French. Expect to participate in active dialogue exercises that prepare you for real-world interactions in Quebec. We will navigate the language together until you feel ready for your upcoming goals.

Holding a self-taught background enriched by 13 years in the chanson circuit and 12 years of teaching, I bridge the gap between textbook French and the reality of life in Montreal. My qualifications are grounded in my native Québécois heritage and my years living in Nice. This unique dual perspective allows me to teach you the nuances of LIAISON AND NASAL SOUNDS that define local speech patterns.
I work with adults, kids, and hobbyists navigating the complexities of relocation and immigration. We cover everything from idioms and expressions to complex reading comprehension and exam preparation for the DELF or DALF. My sessions also focus heavily on accent and intonation to ensure you sound natural during role play or daily dialogue.
I provide cultural context for travel French so you understand the social norms alongside the grammar. Helping students connect with the culture through language is genuinely enjoyable.
