About Merab

I am a native Russian speaker and a qualified linguist with a PhD in Linguistics. I have over 35 years of teaching experience as a university professor and private tutor, working with students of different ages and levels.

Throughout my career, I have taught Russian language and linguistics in academic settings as well as in one-to-one private lessons. My experience allows me to explain complex grammar and language structures in a clear and simple way, making learning effective and accessible for every student.

I specialize in teaching Russian as a foreign language, focusing on developing strong communication skills, correct pronunciation, and a deep understanding of grammar and vocabulary. My approach is structured but flexible, always adapted to the individual needs and goals of each student.

My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners, including students, professionals, and anyone interested in Russian for academic, work, or personal purposes. About the lesson

I use a communicative and practical teaching approach focused on real-life language use. My goal is to help students speak confidently and naturally, not just memorize grammar rules. I combine structured learning with active speaking practice so students quickly build both accuracy and fluency.
