About Leila

Welcome to the place where your goal of mastering Spanish will become a reality. As a native speaker and certified teacher with a diploma specializing in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE), I know that learning a language goes far beyond memorizing vocabulary lists or having informal conversations. It requires a rigorous methodology, expert guidance, and an action plan designed exclusively for you.

My academic background gives me the technical knowledge necessary to explain the reasons behind grammatical rules clearly, logically, and accessibly, completely eliminating improvisation. By choosing my classes, you're not just practicing with a native speaker; you're investing in a qualified teacher who will provide you with interactive materials, multimedia tools, and structured follow-up. Your progress, your confidence in speaking, and your fluency are my greatest professional commitment.

About the lesson

Hello, I'm your future Spanish teacher. I'm a native speaker and hold a diploma in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) from the University of the Americas. My mission is to help you speak Spanish fluently, confidently, and accurately, understanding not only the words but also the culture that surrounds them.

My classes are based on the Communicative Approach and Task-Based Learning. This means that grammar isn't memorized but actively practiced in real-life situations from the very beginning. I use multimodal techniques, authentic materials (newspaper articles, videos, podcasts), and interactive online tools to make the class dynamic and effective.

Typical 50-minute lesson plan:
• Minutes 1-10 (Activation and Conversation): We start a conversation and review your previous questions to activate the language.
• Minutes 10-25 (Linguistic Focus): Introduction to a grammatical, lexical, or cultural structure through a real-life example.
• Minutes 25-45 (Guided and Free Practice): We simulate an everyday situation or a practical debate where you actively participate, applying what you've learned.
• Minutes 45-50 (Feedback): Constructive error correction, a summary of your achievements for the day, and the assignment of optional activities for the week.

Unlike an informal tutor, I combine the natural intuition of a native speaker with the rigor of a certified teacher. I understand the reasons behind grammar rules and know how to explain them to you simply and without unnecessary technical jargon. My classes aren't impromptu lectures; each session has a specific learning objective, designed to adapt to your pace and real needs.

I offer personalized learning experiences for students with clear goals:

• Intermediate and advanced students (B1 to C2) who want to refine their grammar and sound more natural.
• Professionals and university students who need Spanish to advance their careers or prepare for official exams like the DELE.
• Motivated adults who are traveling to or moving to a Spanish-speaking country.

The courses are 100% interactive and student-centered. Modern teaching techniques are used that prioritize communicative competence: real-time phonetic correction, analysis of authentic texts, and functional role-playing activities.
