About Veronica

A little bit about myself... I’m a native Spanish speaker from Venezuela who’s been living in London for the past 9 years, and I’m passionate about languages and communication. When I first arrived in London, I couldn’t speak a word of English. I know exactly what it feels like to not understand, to feel unsure, and to be afraid of speaking and making mistakes. Like many people learning a new language, I lacked confidence at the beginning, but with time, practice, and the right environment, I was able to improve.

I’ve always enjoyed connecting with people from different cultures and helping others feel more confident when speaking a new language. I know from personal experience how challenging it can be to speak in a language that isn’t your own, especially with a native speaker, and how easy it is to feel nervous or unsure. Because of this, I aim to create a friendly, patient, and supportive environment that doesn't feel like a classroom or a lesson, but more like a conversation where you can relax and speak without fear of making mistakes.

I believe that confidence is key when learning a language, and my goal is to help you build that step by step. I am approachable, a good listener, and genuinely interested in helping you improve. Whether you’re just starting or looking to practise your speaking skills, I will adapt to your pace and needs so you can feel comfortable and make progress.

About the lesson

Hello! I’m a native Spanish speaker offering friendly and relaxed online Spanish lessons focused on helping you speak with confidence.

I understand how intimidating it can feel to talk to a native speaker, I’ve been in that position myself when learning other languages! That’s why my approach is patient, supportive, and completely judgement-free. My goal is to help you feel comfortable enough to express yourself, even if you make mistakes.

My teaching style is based on conversation and real-life communication. In our lessons, we will talk about everyday topics such as travel, food, work, and your personal interests. I will guide you, help you find the right words, and gently correct your mistakes so you can improve naturally.

A typical lesson includes:

- A warm-up conversation
- A main topic to help you practise speaking
- Personalised feedback and useful corrections

My lessons are ideal for:

- Beginners who want to start speaking Spanish
- Intermediate students who understand Spanish but lack confidence
- Anyone looking to improve fluency in a relaxed environment

Although I am at the beginning of my teaching journey, I am highly motivated, patient, and focused on creating a positive experience where you can progress at your own pace.
