About Victor

I’m Victor, a native Spanish speaker from Mexico with a passion for languages, culture, and helping others grow in confidence when speaking. Alongside language, I bring my background in sustainability and environmental science to the table. My background is in chemical engineering, and I have over two years of experience in sustainability strategy, Life Cycle Assessment, and environmental impact analysis. I’ve supported brands across packaging, fashion, food & beverage, and automotive sectors in their transition towards circularity through strategies like repurposing materials, processes, supply chains, and business models.

About the lesson

My lessons are conversation-focused, friendly, and tailored to each student’s goals and interests. I firmly believe the best way to learn a language is by speaking it regularly and naturally, so I create a relaxed environment where you feel encouraged to talk, make mistakes, and grow in confidence. We’ll use real-life scenarios, current events, and everyday topics to build vocabulary and fluency. I also love incorporating Latin American culture into lessons — music, food, travel, and even sustainability themes — making learning both practical and enjoyable. If you're interested, we can explore environmental topics like climate change or sustainable lifestyles in Spanish, which adds depth to your learning and is great for those passionate about global issues or working in sustainability. Lessons are usually 60 minutes long, but I can adapt to shorter or longer sessions if needed. I’m a native Spanish speaker from Mexico with experience supporting learners of all levels — from complete beginners to advanced speakers looking to improve fluency or prepare for travel, exams, or work. My background as a chemical engineer with experience in sustainability also allows me to offer topic-specific conversations for professionals or students interested in science, the environment, or related fields. I work with teenagers and adults of all backgrounds and customise lessons based on your pace, level, and preferences.
