About Cecilia
I started teaching languages when I was 20 years old and although I followed a different career path, teaching languages has been a constant in my life. After many years in banking, I retrained as a Translator&Interpreter. I find that now I´m fully exercising my linguistic talent as a language teacher, tutor and translator. My past corporate experience along with my international profile as well as my knowledge and experience as a language teacher provide me with an ideal background for the language training world.

My approach to teaching:: Unless the student wants to improve in a specific area or is preparing for a particular exam, I follow the "Communicative Method" and "The Natural Approach" (S. Krashen) This method works with the four communicative skills: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing, focusing on natural language acquisition while developing a grammatical solid base. I have taught a wide range of students: Primary School, High school, GCSE, IB and A level students, university students, professional executives and adult learners. I also help high school and university students improve their writing skills and professional students with phone, reports and email skills.
