Lessons are based on the study of vocabulary to strengthen basic communication in various topics; the study of grammar; and information on cultural aspects of the Hispanic world. All these aspects are reinforced with a series of activities that involve reading and reading comprehension, writing, listening, and speaking/conversation to allow students to apply the acquired knowledge. Activities are aimed to challenge students to make use of what they have learned to become engage in creative communication.
Lessons are conducted online and include the use of audio-visual material, individual activities, activities in pairs/groups, presentations or informal conversations, and games. Various audio-visual materials and the tutor's guide are used to support each activity.
The subject is approached with flexibility and particular activities are developed to strengthen specific themes according to the needs of the students
I have three years of experience assisting Spanish courses at the University of Northern British Columbia and as a private Spanish tutor for people of all ages. I have experience in planning and leading tutorials, preparing and grading assignments and exams, and developing teaching materials.
