About Marie
I possess a Double Major in Social Work/Sociology as well as a Diploma in Education specializing in Rehabilitation and Disabilities Studies from the University of Calgary. I have worked as Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor with The Ministry of Community and Social Services for 20 + years until the Ontario Government disbanded the program provincially. The clientele included clients that had a challenge/disability which included Physical, Emotional, Developmental, Learning Disability or Drug and/or Alcohol addiction. During this time, I was responsible for the entire Rainy River District which included the Town of Fort Frances and All of the First Nations Reserves in the District.

Teaching basic grammar, sentence structure, reading, and speaking 1. Introduction to the English Language (Historical) 2. Explore what skills the student is looking to develop: i.e., reading, writing, grammar or sentence structure etc. 3. Assess level of competency in English at time of initial interview (pretest) 4. Previous exposure/experience with the English Language. 5. Is acquiring English skills for entry into area of employment 6. Is developing English skills for entry into further Educational Institute 7. Acquiring proficiency in English to be able to translate into other languages
