About Noah
When I was 8 years old my parents bought me an album (yes, back when you actually bought CD's) called "Two Lefts Don't Make a Right...but Three Do" by Relient K. As soon as the intro of the first song hit, I knew I wanted to be a guitar player. That Christmas I got my first guitar. In high school, I played in metalcore bands and hardcore/punk bands. Since then I have primarily been playing in churches, writing and recording my own music, and playing guitar on releases from friends.
After 20 years of playing guitar, and still chasing my childhood dream of being a rock star, I've now developed a passion for sharing my skills with others. I've spent the last 5 years teaching guitar, and hope to continue for many more!

Many people learn to play songs on the guitar, but never actually learn to play the guitar. You probably won't play Jimi Hendrix songs as well as Jimi Hendrix, or John Mayer songs as well as John Mayer, but everyone has something unique that only they can bring to the guitar. I use your favourite songs to breakdown ideas on the guitar, sprinkle in as much music theory as you're interested in hearing, and then set you up to use those concepts in your own way; whether that's songwriting, jamming, or improvising.
