About Leen
Hello! I am currently a Freshman high school student in the DMV area that currently takes all honors classes along with French 2 and Marketing. I'm an active member in Debate, DECA, physics/astronomy club, and also enjoy learning multiple skills and hobbies such as volleyball, guitar, archery, computer science, taking advanced math classes, and many many more!

Elementary school is where the basics and foundation of learning starts. It's critical that a student in elementary school and even middle school actually UNDERSTAND what they are being taught. When I was in elementary school, I was often left confused or felt like something was missing after a teacher would explain a lesson, and this seems to be a common part of the school system today. As someone who is extremely passionate about learning a variety of different things, I'm worried that the younger group of students at the moment are not clearly understanding in a way that they are PASSIONATE about learning. This is the main goal of my lessons: a clear, strong, understanding but also in a way that makes a student want to learn MORE.
I teach elementary math along with pre-algebra/basics of algebra. Even as a passionate STEM student, I'm deeply devoted to literature and the arts, and I believe learning the foundations of writing and reading is just as important as learning math and science. I can help elementary, middle, and high school students in writing and reading. I also am able to help in elementary and middle school science and history (please be specific in request).
