About Katherine
From speech delay to polyglot, my personal challenges have fueled my passion for language and communication. I hold a BA in Spanish and French and an MA in Spanish from St. John's University. In 2016, I received a Fulbright grant to teach English at La Universidad Nacional del Sur in Bahía Blanca, Argentina. I have experience teaching students of all ages, levels and backgrounds, including AP Spanish Language & Culture, AP Spanish Literature & Culture, undergraduate and graduate level Spanish, in both in-person and virtual settings. While I am not a native speaker, I have reached near native fluency and hold a deep reverence for the Spanish speaking world.
