About Maddie
I am going into my third year at Dalhousie University, and I am majoring in both neuroscience and chemistry. My gpa is 4.16 and I pride myself on being a disciplined, attentive student. I have always enjoyed school and learning and am seeking opportunities to switch from a student into a teacher (although we are all lifelong students). In my free time I love to dance, play piano, read and watch Netflix.

I gear my lessons towards middle and high school students who are having trouble in a certain school subject. The lessons are one hour long and the majority of our time will consist of a learning, practice question, and feedback period. Along with the main lesson, homework is set between lessons and reviewed at the end of the following lesson. During the lesson the student and I will be using Power-points, white boards and worksheets to maximize visual and hands on learning. Important aspects of learning in my lessons are repeating concepts over time and a positive tutoring environment. All questions are valid and I will do my best to answer them fully :).
