About the lesson
When tutoring biology, I find that the best approach is to have students ask me questions that they are unsure about. I then discuss the question with the student, fill in any gaps in their knowledge, and guide them towards the correct answer. I believe that this conversational approach is the best way to build understanding and confidence. I will also ask the student additional practice questions relating to the content in order to identify specific areas to focus on.

About Hailey
I am in the MD/PhD program at the University of Alberta. I am currently working towards my PhD in Neuroscience, studying Alzheimer's disease and prion diseases. I have undergraduate degrees in both electrical biomedical engineering and neuroscience. I love sharing my passion for biology, and I have previously taken part in many volunteer tutoring and teaching experiences.
