About Alvin

Hello! I am Alvin Chan, a current 19 y/o university student who went through IGCSE around four or five years ago. I am doing tutoring because I've gotten help from a tutor using this method and therefore helped me ace all my mathematics exams in high school. I do encourage students to do their best and try to learn and ask as much as possible during lessons. Don't be shy, I ain't that stern. :)

About the lesson

My lessons will just consist of a picture solving the questions you've sent to me. At the same time you can ask me to explain any or all of the questions step by step. All this would go through pictures. However, if you prefer I could do a lesson where you request worksheets or bring in your own questions and we could stay in a call while you could try doing the worksheet first. Then when you get stuck on a question you can tell me then I'll solve it then explain to you how to get the answer. Typical length is about 1-2 hours. My qualifications as a tutor is that I went through IGCSE obtaining As for both Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. Lessons are for students under or at the level of IGCSE.

Alvin was my tutor in high-school. We had this tutor program where the seniors helped the juniors in their studies and he was my mentor. Well frankly speaking, he encourages me a lot. And I mean a lot. Although I wasn't associated with him before the tutor thing, he was willing to answer all my dumb questions XD. Well he helped me a lot and now it's my turn to take my IGCSEs. I'm really thankful cause after that my grades skyrocketed not even exaggerating. Yeah you should probably take him as your tutor. I believe he is worth at least 200 per hour so 40 per hour is a steal already.

This tutor was a classmate of mine. From school he has helped me with my homework several times. I was a less intellectual kid back then but somehow he was patient and managed to help me with every work I asked him.
