About Parthiban
My name is Parthiban and I’m an ex RSAF engineer of 12 years happily married to my wife who is a teacher and we have a kid aged 5.
My journey with teaching started as a post-secondary school student who covered the maternity leave of another teacher on a contract basis in a secondary school. The shift from student to teacher made me realize the struggles of being a teacher yet the satisfaction of helping students tackle their problems with assignments was immense.
I continued with taking up tuition assignments during my polytechnic journey to fund my expenses as I was not from a well-to-do family. Even in the RSAF, one of my longest roles apart from my primary job as a network engineer was being the lead trainer to new trainers who entered my unit and get them trained and qualified on the various systems that we operate on.
So teaching has always held a significant spot in my life’s journey and at this stage of my life where I’m pursuing higher education and a career change, I would like to be an active member of the teaching/tutor community once again and be of help to the best of my ability.
