About Sophie
Art has been a huge part of my life for decades. I have gone through training at an Art School in Kyiv, Ukraine. I also did a Visual Arts SHSM and graduated from OCAD University with a bachelor in design. I have taught most artistic mediums to students with a wide range of age ranges. Hi, my name is Sophie! I am an OCAD University graduate with experience of teaching Art at an elementary school and at an art studio. I have taught drawing with pencil and pastels; painting with watercolour, acrylic and oil paint; sculpture etc. Right now I focus on teaching drawing and painting to students that are 10 y.o. and older. My lessons consist of a combination of projects that develop core artistic skills as well as projects that develop creativity and imagination. Lessons are personalized to fit the skill level and goals of each student. I am also happy to assist with portfolio preparation!
