About Aoife
I have a love for teaching and for Physics. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in education over the last decade. I've been teaching in secondary schools in Newcastle (2013-14), London (14-21) and Derry (21-present) I am now moving to become a full-time tutor and have therefore gained the capacity to take on more students for tutoring. I have a PGCE from Newcastle University and a BEng in Civil Engineering from Queens

-Exam specification learning checklists, exam questions and notes will be provided for each session. -I have been an examiner in previous years and sessions will focus on content and ensuring specific terminology is used for maximum marks -The first session will be a taster session to gain an understanding of the student's ability/confidence with the subject -1hr sessions which will usually begin with a short test to recall previous knowledge. This will be followed by a detailed explanation of the chosen topic with worked examples progressively leading up to the student being able to work through a question on their own. Sessions will finish with exam questions based on the content from that day.

Aoife is an incredibly talented teacher with a wealth of experience, both in the classroom and as a private tutor. Having been a science and physics teacher for many years, she is very familiar with the curriculum, and has fostered a passion for her subject in all of her previous students! She is kind, approachable, and enables her students to succeed.
