About Matthew
I am a third year psychology major at Toronto Metro University. I have developed a deep understanding of how psychology, philosophy, history, biology, and evolution are necessary elements in obtaining a thorough analysis of human nature and the mind. I have a great passion for these subjects and understand the importance of thoroughly grasping its concepts. I can teach the fundamentals as well as the more difficult material. Although, I am a third year student, I study on a constant basis material that is more advance than what's offered in my present classes.

As student with more than six years of experience in post secondary programs and an avid researcher, I have accumulated an expertise and a student philosophy that can surely be of help.
For the social sciences and the life sciences, I can help delve into the deeper understandings for the "why" and "how" questions. For example, the "why" being the meaning and the "how" being its function and utility. This approach is to improve your analytical skills in order to teach what is often difficult to learn, which is the development of deeper insight.
Students interested in the social sciences and life sciences will benefit from my strategy of learning to mine and obtain more from abstract material. This includes emphasis on reading and comprehension, compartmentalizing sophisticated concepts, writing, and learning to connect all the pieces together.
This integrative approach will be beneficial for high school students interested in the humanities, and first and second year university students majoring in psychology.
