About Owain
I’m Owain. I’ve recently completed my A levels am moving on to study Engineering at university. I have a real passion for Maths and problem solving and I decided to start tutoring because I love seeing students gain confidence and realise they can do well in Maths with the right guidance. I know from experience that a supportive teacher can make a huge difference. I also keep myself active with numerous sports like surfing, football, badminton and regularly going to the gym.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, focusing on building understanding and exam confidence. I start by identifying each student’s strengths and weaknesses to determine which areas need improvement, ensuring they achieve the best possible results. I use clear explanations, step-by-step methods, and past paper practice to make Maths engaging and accessible. Lessons can be delivered in either English or Welsh, depending on preference.
