About Umer

I am a high school graduate from Fletcher's Meadow Secondary School, and currently a student at Ryerson University. I have excellent interpersonal skills and a lot of patience, as I have dealt with many troubled students my age as well as younger. I also struggled with English prior to my drastic improvement. In grade 11 I had a final average of 76% whereas in grade 12 my grade improved to an 88%. Thus I believe I can relate to students in my previous situation.

About the lesson

My techniques revolve around a lot of insightful discussion about the text, or given material. A typical class would involve reading and understanding given material. I believe I will make a good tutor because I have personally enjoyed this subject thoroughly and I want to spark those interests in my students as well. I believe in the process of learning the material for this subject, a lot of in depth and insightful discussion can occur.
