About Chris
Music has always been a big part of my life. I've always been drawn to it and it inspired me to become a musician. I've learned quite a lot over the years and I think it's a good time for me to share some of that knowledge with other like minded people. You can't learn it all overnight, but you can learn to love the journey.

I started out playing a classical guitar that my mom picked up in Tijuana for my birthday. I liked it because the strings weren't too rough on my fingers. Later I started playing a steel string acoustic guitar which sounded great but was harder on my fingers. When I joined my first band it was suggested that I learn bass because we couldn't find any bass players. That turned out to be a good decision. I've learned bass mostly on my own by listening intently to recordings and playing in several cover bands. I've learned guitar through a combination of classes and learning on my own. I also write and record my own songs in GarageBand.
