About Fatima

I am a patient and understanding individual who understands and appreciates the need for private tuition due to my breadth of experience in the field. I have tutored both groups of young people and on a 1-1 basis. The breadth of my tutoring ranges from children with disabilities, learning to read to young people preparing for A-Level exams. I was an assistant at KUMON for 4 years in which I monitored students on their academic progress and helped set new goals and targets. Through KUMON, I received OFSTED level training. My style of tutoring focuses on helping the student gain a key foundation in the chosen subject and learning to study independently. I am also part of the Widening Participation Programme at my University. I am provided with regular training sessions on teaching styles and safeguarding. Through the programme I tutor young people from underprivileged backgrounds to help them achieve their aspirational goals.
