About Peggy
I am an experienced facilitator and tutor who has been working in education& Training sector for 10+ years. The teaching journey started from 1999 up to this day. My experience includes but not limited to facilitation of learning in both academic and professional subjects, emotional and academic support, assessments, identification and development of talent, staff development and administrative roles. During these years I enjoyed working with all levels of staff members, fostering quality relationships with students of different dispositions as well as engaging with all stakeholders in creating conducive learning environments and lifelong personal development. Throughout these years I have shown in many ways that I am a self-driven leader and team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who always bring out the best in students. I have learnt a lot about people engagement, support and development, which makes me, accomplish a lot of things with ordinary and average performers. My personality makes it easier to adjust to new working situations as well as working with diversified people. I am currently working at University of South Africa as a tutor cum online teacher for 200 learners.

I use student-centred approach to learning which include facilitation, engagement, use of virtual learning to bring in ideas from geographical dispersed learners and different platforms for group chats as well as personalised learning where need be. I also make use of question & answer sessions, inquiry type of learning, videos and pre-recorded lectures and each time the learner is empowered to take charge of her or his learning.
