About Marius
I am a DJ and producer who has played professionally for more than 20 years. I started my musical journey in the mystical land of Transylvania a region of today's Romania surrounded by the amazing traditional folklore of Maramures. Influenced from an early age by the ancestral rhythms and dances, I started DJing, and that later culminated with a residency at a major club in my hometown and gigs all over the country. Now, located in Toronto, Canada, I run Kaleidoscope: a vinyl only event brand for international and local DJs, and I have carved my way to becoming a highly esteemed DJ, not only locally but internationally as well. My expertise is electronic dance music focusing on techno, electro, breakbeat and house and I have released original music on record labels from USA, Germany, UK and Canada. Art, especially music, is one of the most exclusively human things and I believe that the knowledge we own should be transmitted to the next generation. Let's make something beautiful together.

Lessons can be conducted Online or In Person Open for all experience levels Basic DJ knowledge: ★ Introduction to mixing ★ Sorting music (CDs, vinyl, digital as MP3, FLAC, AIFF, WAV) ★ Bar counting ★ Club mixing basics ★ Using the mixer's features (faders, EQ, FX) ★ Using CDJ/turntable features (jog, cues, loops, browsing) Advance DJ knowledge: ☆ Working with DJ software (Rekordbox, Traktor, Serato) ☆ Mixing techniques (mixing in key) ☆ Production (Music theory, Hardware, Ableton Live, VST's)
