About Miguelina
I'm Miguelina Bisono, a Reading Specialist and Primary teacher with 16 years of experience. I have a Master’s in International Teaching and am currently a Teacher Candidate at the University of Toronto. I help students in SK to Grade 4 build strong reading and writing skills using Orton-Gillingham principles and proven strategies. My goal is to create a warm, play-based, and supportive classroom where every child can thrive.

I’m excited to share my passion with you by offering individualized one-on-one literacy sessions for SK–Grade 3 students, using an Orton-Gillingham–based, multi-sensory approach to build strong reading and writing skills. With years of experience and evidence-based strategies, I help children:

• Strengthen phonics and spelling
• Build vocabulary
• Improve comprehension
• Develop confident writing
