About Cordelia
As I go through college I’ve realized how much I love helping others learn. I find myself teaching my peers all the time. They come to me because they know I’ll always do my best to answer every question they have and that I’m patient when they can’t understand something. I take extra care to explain the same concept in multiple ways if they need it.
I practice that same patience and kindness with everyone I meet.

Since there is no one size fits all approach to learning I like to start off by asking the following:
-Where are they struggling?
-What are their goals for their class?
-How much time will be allocated to tutor sessions?
-What makes learning feel less like a chore and more like a game?
The key element to my tutoring style is allowing the student to discover answers instead of being told them.
My teaching plan will meet the goals we’ve established in our first session and will keep evolving as I find what works well for the student.
Elementary and Middle school math is what I teach. Will also take high school math class requests depending on the subject
