About Conor
I am a working-class Actor, Motion Capture Artist and Theatre Practitioner. I trained with the National Youth Theatre's Rep Company and graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Originally from Cumbria, I have worked both regionally and internationally travelling as far as Saudi Arabia. As an Actor I have been a regular company member at the National Theatre working with directors including, Lyndsey Turner, Rufus Norris & Stephen Daldry. I have also worked for companies including, BBC Films, Working Title, HBO, Sky Arts, The Young Vic, NYT, Theatre by the Lake & CAST. Priding myself on versatility, and with a keen interest in movement, my work in Motion and Performance Capture has taken me into the realms of computer games and VFX. I am a Movement Tutor at Guildhall School of Music & Drama, specialising in Virtual Environments. I also teach this work at Italia Conti, Identity School of Acting and NYT. I trained as a facilitator with NT Learning, before regularly facilitating for the Old Vic on their Schools Club programme, delivering bespoke workshops to schools from areas with poor arts provisions. I am an Associate Artist of the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. Each year I run their intake auditions up and down the UK. I have taught Foundation students at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, subjects including, Audition Technique, Creative Practice & Text Analysis. My clients have secured roles for productions companies including the BBC & ITV. My students have gained places with the NYT Rep Company. I am available remotely, via zoom. *I understand the hardships of coming from a regional county with little to no access to arts provisions and a lower socioeconomic background. 1-1 SCRIPT ANALYSIS For Professional Actors who have an upcoming audition or just want to work on their craft. DRAMA SCHOOL COACHING For those just starting out, Auditioning for Youth Companies and Drama Schools. *I offer a limited number of spaces at a discounted rate to those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. Particularly those from the regions with less arts provisions. Fully DBS (CRB) checked and Level 3 in Safeguarding. Whether a seasoned professional or just starting out, I want to help you fulfil your potential. I believe in treating the audition process as an opportunity to develop your craft. Self Tapes, for example, are becoming more popular. Which is a good thing! They offer you far more control. However, I appreciate many can find them stressful for various reasons. I am here to help assist as little or as much as needed as you navigate your journey. I will ensure, that whether you book the role / place or not, you will rest easy knowing you have done your job and presented something you can be proud of.
