About Anagha
Hiya! My name is Anagha and I am a first year medical student at Brighton and Sussex Medical School. During my studies before university, I had always had a preference for chemistry and physics as sciences over biology, which was a sentiment not usually shared by my peers. Reflecting on this, I wanted to tutor in these subjects specifically as I would like to share my passion for these subjects and help those who struggle with them to excel.
As I am a medical student, I am also willing to discuss what it's like in med school, as well as my own application process and provide a little advice, I am not a medicine admissions tutor though so please don't consider me as one.

I believe in ensuring a student has a fundamental understanding of the topic they are learning, at a level that suits their current experience with the subject. My lessons take place online with whiteboard applications (interactive whiteboard applications or not both can work).
My lessons are an hour, the same length as an in-school lesson, I also feel like content is retained better in shorter chunks, which is why I only offer hour long lessons.
As for my experience as a tutor, I did online tutoring as a hobby with my peers' younger siblings, all of whom were in years 7-11. During this, I noticed as I tutored them more, the more confident they got with the topics.
My lessons will mainly be structured around the AQA GCSE physics/chemistry specification, but I am flexible and can accommodate other specs.
As stated in the ad, my services are catered towards GCSE/secondary students, and when it comes to it I can offer bridging material/teaching for year 12.
