About Flo
As a current MMath student, I am passionate about learning and teaching maths. My grade 9 in GCSE maths and A* in A-level maths reflect my ability to understand and explain mathematical processes in a range of ways to ensure that every individual gains an understanding. Since I sat my A-levels this summer, and GCSEs in 2021, I have a good understanding of the exam specifications and can appreciate how difficult it can be to stay motivated, especially if your education's been disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, therefore I try to make sure my lessons are fun and enjoyable, while still tackling any issues you have.

I'm a passionate and friendly maths student with the ability to explain the whys and hows of the GCSE maths curriculum in a variety of ways to cater to individual needs. At the beginning of lessons, we will discuss the main problem areas of the individual so that I am able to provide a number of resources, examples, and practise questions to build skills and confidence in the subject. Starter questions will be used in future sessions to ensure that the understanding is maintained and we can review any problems that arise. I can also provide feedback and help on past homework questions and exam papers to promote learning from mistakes and to leave you feeling prepared for exams. I am also able to provide homework tasks for further practise questions, which I'll mark and we can review together.
I have experience with tutoring and am flexible with hours to cater to individual needs and requirements. Furthermore, my lessons are adapted to each individual so that we can achieve the best outcomes for you.
