About Camila

Hi!

I'm Camila, a qualified teacher (Teaching Portuguese as a Foreign Language). I am a native speaker and I have been teaching for seventeen years and have students from all over the world.

I'm a fully qualified Portuguese language teacher with seventeen years’ experience. I taught all ages from 2 years old to adults, privately or in groups.

About the lesson

What do I teach?

I teach:
One-to-one classes for adults aged 18 plus.
All levels from Beginner to Advanced.
Business Portuguese (including e-mail and telephone Portuguese)
I'm also happy to help with presentations and documents for work and university.

Why should you choose me?

Language is about telling people what you want to say. It isn't important for your Portuguese to be perfect. They only need to be able to understand you.

Private Portuguese classes are the best place to make mistakes. If you make mistakes in class then you can learn from them. This will make you more confident to meet your friends and co-workers outside the classroom.

I make classes really relaxed and fun with a strong focus on conversation skills. I can also help you learn new words and improve your listening and grammar skills.

I offer a free one hour introduction lesson on Skype. This is so that I can find your level and for us to get to know each other, which will make your first lesson more comfortable.

I want to help you with your Portuguese, whether you need to improve it for your job, exams, or just to learn the language to a high level for everyday life. I will identify your strengths and weaknesses, and ensure we focus on your needs.

I aim to make all my lessons fun and relevant to YOU, using a variety of learning tools. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced Portuguese speaker, I can help.

Your first hour will be free! I am flexible with lesson times, whether you need lessons in the mornings, afternoons or evenings, on weekdays or weekends.
