About Camila

Hi, I’m Camila, a professional teacher of Portuguese who has been teaching for 20 years. I am a native Portuguese speaker. I have a degree in Portuguese Language and Literature. Main topics studied include Latin and Portuguese language, linguistic studies, Brazilian and Portuguese Literature, Educational Policies, Sign Language and Literature for children and adolescents. I also have a degree in History. Main topics studied include Brazilian history, history of the Americas, modern and contemporary history and educational psychology.

About the lesson

I can give you lessons for a range of different purposes:

• Everyday Portuguese - improve your knowledge of phrasal verbs, collocations and idioms. Get more fluent and confident in conversation. Focusing on the spoken language, you will be able to improve your communication with native Portuguese speakers by learning through practice.

• Pronunciation - manage phone calls and conversations with improved pronunciation. We will look at key issues such as intonation, stress and vowel length. Pronunciation is not only about speaking but also about listening.

Times

I teach in the morning, afternoon and evening, on week and weekend days, depending on availability.

My schedule is completely flexible.

Lessons can be scheduled regularly or changed based on your timetable.
