About Teacher
I am currently a full-time music teacher in one of the distinctive music schools in my city. I've been teaching here for more than 12 years and I can confidently say gained experience in handling different types of students and personalities.
Our school's goal is for the student to be well-equipped in their music skills. To develop the student's foundation in note reading, steady rhythm, good hearing and pitch, and of course to enjoy and connect with other people through their music.

Hi there! I'm teacher Tim!
My lessons are customized and will depend on student's age, goals, and personality. I have taught students of various ages from 3 - 60 years old.
For very young piano students, I recommend Faber books and then we progress to John Thompson's book.
For older piano students, I recommend John Thomson's and/or Edna Burnam's books.
For violin students, I either recommend Violin Fun Book or Suzuki book, etc.
I am an ABRSM Grade 5 Exam passer with distinction.
Although, my foundation in the beginning lessons are note reading and a firm grasp of rhythm and counting, my lessons can be fun and creative!
So let's have fun learning together!
