About Parveen

I am an Ontario Certified Teacher with over 24 years of teaching and educational leadership experience in Canada and internationally. As a Special Education Specialist with ESL/MLL qualifications, I am passionate about helping students succeed. I believe that strong conceptual understanding, consistent practice, and regular revision are the keys to academic success. My lessons are interactive, fun, and engaging, with plenty of encouragement and motivation. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, solving problems, and discovering their potential. My goal is to make learning enjoyable while helping every student build a strong foundation and achieve their academic goals.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is student-centred, engaging, and personalized to each learner’s needs. I use clear explanations, real-life examples, visual strategies, guided practice, and problem-solving activities to make complex concepts easier to understand. I adapt lessons to different learning styles and support students with diverse learning needs, including IEPs and English language learners.

A typical lesson includes reviewing prior knowledge, explaining new concepts, practising examples together, independent practice, and feedback to strengthen understanding.

With over 24 years of teaching experience, I specialize in Ontario Curriculum, AP, and IB Mathematics, supporting elementary, middle, and high school students. I also provide academic guidance and university pathway support.
