About Alexey

I truly enjoy helping people discover that learning a language can be practical, interesting, and rewarding. I became a teacher because I like seeing students grow in confidence and achieve goals they once thought were difficult. Welcome to the journey!

About the lesson

I always try to tailor my lessons to your interests, goals and level. I do not believe that every student should follow the same lesson plan. You tell me what you want to learn, and I build the lessons around you. If you love films, we can learn through films. If you need English for work, we can focus on work situations. If you want to speak more confidently, we can make speaking the main focus. Simple explanations, real-life examples, conversation, questions, exercises, videos and other materials.

I want you to use the language, not just study it. So you will have many chances to speak and practise during our lessons. I will correct your mistakes, explain them clearly and help you improve step by step.

Every lesson is a little different, but we usually start with a short conversation or review. Then we work on the main topic or skill. After that, we practise what you have learned through exercises and conversation. At the end, we review the most important points and decide what to work on next.

I teach teenagers and adults from beginner to advanced level. I teach general English, speaking, IELTS and Cambridge exam preparation. I also teach Russian as a foreign language.
