About Timothy
I play flute in a local orchestra in Richmond with woodwind, string, and percussion. I have regular performances. I am also teaching music theory so expect a blend of concepts and techniques. I am passionate to teach and discuss music. I like to play duets with students in each class, and I believe this is an important way to strengthen the sense of ensemble and arouse musical interest, which is lifelong joy. I have ABRSM music theory grade 8 qualification. Have fun and learn something at a reasonable cost.

Suitable for beginner and intermediate learners, for practice of bands' repertoires, preparation for performances. Interactive approach to learn how to play this amazing woodwind instrument! Not only will we go over repertoires and etudes, but also we will emphasize the importance of sight reading training. I am also teaching music theory so expect a blend of concepts and techniques. I am passionate to teach and discuss music. Personally, I have played in a Chinese orchestra for over 10 years, so expect me to share experience on duet and ensemble. Have fun and learn something at a reasonably low cost!
