About Susan
I've always been in love with the sound of the cello, its rich warm sound that envelops you like a blanket. I have been playing for over 50 years and teaching for 45 years. I love teaching and imparting my knowledge to inquisitive and hard working students.

I make lessons fun and engaging. I'm a bit like a cello doctor, fixing physical problems to make playing easier. Tone production is extrememly important, so I focus a lot on the bow even at the beginning of the student's journey.
