About Kathy
I'm a freelance Korean Teacher that have been teaching Korean for over 4 years with private class and small group class. I've lived in South Korea almost 6 years, and also got the TOPIK level 6 & diploma of translation there. Although I am not a native Korean, I can understand everyone's struggles while learning Korean because I also had a difficult time when I learned Korean! Therefore, I would apply an easier and faster way when I teach Korean.

I usually design the lesson individually by student’s needs. For example, if you want to have examination like TOPIK, then I will use the formal materials following the exam syllabus to conduct the lesson. Also, I will teach the examination skills while doing past paper with you.
On the other hand, if you learn Korean only for your hobby, I will use different teaching materials to tailor made the lesson. For instance, if you like kpop, then I will design the lesson with kpop.
Learning a language in not only the language, its culture is also important to learn because culture is greatly related to the language. Therefore, besides the vocabularies and grammars, I will also talk about Korean culture in the class!
In the first lesson, I will talk with the student about their learning purpose and also learning style, so that I can design the lesson quickly and introduce what they will learn in the class. During my class, you can learn Korean in a comfortable atmosphere without any pressure!
